Yes, this breaker is rated for DC systems up to 500VDC. It provides a 20kA interrupting rating at both 250VDC and 500VDC.
What is the magnetic trip range for this 80A breaker?
The fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit features a magnetic hold current of 800A and a magnetic tripping current of 1450A.
How does the HGA36080 mount into a panel?
It features an I-Line plug-on connection for the line side and mechanical lugs on the load side. It cannot be used in unit-mount or bolt-on applications.
What are the acceptable wire sizes for the load lugs?
The standard load lugs accept 14 AWG to 3/0 AWG aluminum or copper conductors.
What are the torque specifications for the load side lugs?
For 14 AWG to 10 AWG wire, torque the lugs to 50 lb-in (5 Nm). For 8 AWG to 3/0 AWG wire, torque to 120 lb-in (14 Nm).

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
