This breaker is designed for use in Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It features an I-Line style plug-in connection for the line side and mechanical lugs on the load side.
What size and type of wire do the standard lugs on this breaker accept?
The standard AL150HD load-side lugs accept 14 AWG to 3/0 AWG aluminum or copper (Al/Cu) wire.
Is the trip unit on the HJA36110 adjustable?
Yes, this thermal-magnetic breaker features a fixed thermal (long-time) setting for overload protection and an adjustable magnetic (instantaneous) setting to coordinate short-circuit protection.
How does the HJA36110 differ from the HDA36110 or HGA36110?
These are all 110A PowerPacT H-frame breakers with I-Line connections, but they have different interrupting capacities. The HDA provides a standard interrupting capacity (18kA at 480VAC), the HGA provides high capacity (35kA at 480VAC), and the HJA provides extra-high capacity (65kA at 480VAC).
Does the HJA36110 accept field-installable internal accessories?
Yes, PowerPacT H-frame circuit breakers support field-installable internal accessories such as shunt trips, undervoltage releases, and auxiliary switches.
How does the I-Line mounting system handle high fault currents?
The I-Line connection uses a blow-on jaw design. During a short circuit, the magnetic flux generated by the fault current causes the plug-in connectors to clamp down tighter on the panelboard bus, maintaining a secure connection.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
