No. Square D Homeline (HOM) breakers are 1 inch per pole and are only compatible with Homeline load centers. QO breakers are 3/4 inch per pole and use a different busbar connection.
Is this breaker compatible with panels from other manufacturers?
No. The HOM280 is UL listed exclusively for use in Square D Homeline load centers. Using it in other brands voids the UL listing and violates NEC guidelines.
How much panel space does the HOM280 require?
As a 2-pole Homeline breaker, it requires two standard 1-inch spaces, taking up a total of 2 inches on the busbar.
What is the recommended tightening torque for the box lugs?
The box lugs on the HOM280 should be torqued to 42.5 lb-in (4.8 N-m) for 4 AWG to 2/0 AWG copper or aluminum wire.
Is the HOM280 HACR rated?
Yes, this breaker is HACR rated, making it suitable for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
Can the HOM280 be used as a back-fed main breaker?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
