This breaker features an I-Line style plug-in connection and is exclusively designed for use in Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It will not fit standard QO or NQ panels.
What does the L in the JLA36150 catalog number indicate?
The L designates the interrupting rating. It indicates a very high interrupting capacity, specifically 125kA at 240VAC, 100kA at 480VAC, and 50kA at 600VAC.
How do you connect the line and load sides of this breaker?
The line side features a plug-on I-Line connection that mounts directly to the panelboard bus. The load side uses standard mechanical lugs, typically the AL175JD kit, which accept 4 AWG to 4/0 AWG aluminum or copper wire.
Can the JLA36150 replace a JDA36150 or JGA36150?
Yes. Because they share the same physical J-Frame dimensions and I-Line mounting, the JLA36150 can replace a JDA36150 or JGA36150 breaker. The JLA simply offers a higher interrupting capacity.
Is the trip unit on this breaker adjustable?

Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
