This legacy Q-frame breaker is designed specifically for Square D multi-metering equipment. It mounts directly into Meter-Pak, EZM Metering centers, and NQOD panelboards.
What is the modern replacement for the Q2M3225MT?
Because the Q2M3225MT is a legacy component, Square D officially replaces it with the QBM32225TN or an equivalent PowerPact Q-frame circuit breaker configured for metering centers.
How is the Q2M3225MT physically connected during installation?
This breaker uses a bolt-on mounting style. It is equipped with standard wire lugs on the line side and threaded studs on the load side that bolt directly to the bus of the metering center.
How does the thermal-magnetic trip unit function on this breaker?
The fixed thermal-magnetic mechanism provides dual protection. The thermal element responds to prolonged overloads (long-time), while the magnetic element trips immediately during severe short circuits (instantaneous).

Expedited Shipments
