Can this Q-Frame breaker be installed in a standard Square D QO load center?
No. The QBP frame is a molded case circuit breaker specifically built for commercial metering applications. It is too large and physically incompatible with residential QO or Homeline bus bars.
How does the QBP22200TM connect to the metering equipment?
This is a unit mount circuit breaker. It secures to the panel using terminal nuts on the line side and features standard mechanical lugs for terminating the load side wiring.
Are the trip settings field adjustable on this model?
No. The thermal magnetic trip unit features fixed long-time and instantaneous protection functions. There are no dials or switches for field calibration.
What conductor types are approved for the load lugs?
The factory installed load lugs are dual rated for both copper and aluminum conductors, accepting wire sizes between 4 AWG and 300 kcmil.
Is this breaker suitable for use in 480V or 277V commercial services?
No. The maximum operational voltage rating is 240VAC. Applying it to a 277V or 480V system exceeds its design limits and violates its UL safety listing.

Expedited Shipments
