This breaker is designed exclusively for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards [1.4.4]. It uses a plug-on bracket connection for the line-side bus and features mechanical lugs on the load side.
What is the required tightening torque for the load lugs?
The mechanical load lugs accept 4 AWG to 300 kcmil aluminum or copper wire and must be tightened to 247.8 lb-in (28 N.m).
How much I-Line mounting space does this breaker require?
As a 3-pole PowerPacT Q-Frame breaker, the QDA32200 requires 4.5 inches of vertical mounting space within an I-Line panelboard or switchboard.
What is the difference between QBA, QDA, QGA, and QJA breakers?
These prefixes indicate the maximum interrupting rating of the PowerPacT Q-Frame series at 240VAC. QBA is rated for 10 kA, QDA for 25 kA, QGA for 65 kA, and QJA for 100 kA.
Can the trip settings be adjusted on this model?
No. This unit features a thermal-magnetic trip mechanism that is entirely factory-fixed. Neither the long-time (thermal) nor the instantaneous (magnetic) trip functions can be field-adjusted.
How can I manually test the mechanical operation of the breaker?
The QDA32200 includes an integral push-to-trip button located on the front cover. Pressing this button manually trips the breaker mechanism to verify that it is functioning correctly.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
