Will this breaker fit into standard Square D load centers?
No. The QDP22125TM is a commercial grade PowerPacT Q-frame molded case circuit breaker with a bolt-on connection. It is not interchangeable with QO or Homeline residential plug-on panels.
Can the QDP22125TM be used as a direct replacement for discontinued Q2 breakers?
Yes. This PowerPacT Q-frame model serves as a direct, drop-in replacement for the obsolete Square D Q22125 circuit breaker previously used in older EZ Meter-Pak applications.
How does the stud and tapped pad connection work during installation?
The stud or tapped pad end of the breaker bolts directly to the internal bus bar of the metering center to establish the line connection. The load side features a standard mechanical lug to terminate the outgoing branch circuit wiring.
What does the LI trip function indicate on this molded case breaker?
LI stands for Long-Time and Instantaneous protection. The long-time function relies on a thermal element to protect against sustained overloads, while the instantaneous magnetic function trips the breaker immediately during a severe short circuit fault.
Is this circuit breaker rated for use with aluminum wire?
Yes. The load side lug is rated for both aluminum and copper conductors. When installing aluminum wire, follow standard electrical safety practices by wire brushing the stripped conductor and applying a listed antioxidant compound before tightening the lug.
Does this breaker provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No. The QDP22125TM offers standard thermal magnetic overcurrent and short circuit protection. It does not contain internal circuitry for ground fault (GFCI) or arc fault (AFCI) detection.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
