This breaker is designed exclusively for use in Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It uses an I-Line style plug-on connection for the line side and mechanical lugs for the load side.
What is the difference between Square D QBA, QDA, QGA, and QJA breakers?
The third letter indicates the maximum interrupting rating at 240V for PowerPacT Q-Frame breakers. The QBA is rated 10kAIC, QDA is 25kAIC, QGA is 65kAIC, and QJA is 100kAIC. They share the same physical footprint and mounting configuration.
Will the QGA32225 replace legacy Q2 series breakers?
Yes, the PowerPacT Q-Frame lineup is the direct factory replacement for obsolete Square D Q2 series circuit breakers, including the Q232225.
What conductor materials do the load lugs accept?
The factory-installed load-side lugs are rated for both copper (CU) and aluminum (AL) wire. They accommodate conductor sizes ranging from 4 AWG to 300 kcmil.
What are the magnetic trip levels for this 225A breaker?

How can I manually test the mechanical operation of this breaker?
All PowerPacT Q-Frame breakers feature an integral push-to-trip button on the front cover. This allows you to manually open the contacts and verify the mechanical tripping mechanism is functioning correctly without requiring an overcurrent event.
What phase connection does the standard QGA32225 use?
This 3-pole breaker uses a standard ABC phase connection. The line-side plug-on jaws sequence directly to the A, B, and C phases on the I-Line busbar.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
