Designed for demanding commercial environments, the Square D QGL32100 is a 3-pole, 100A MCCB. Utilizing thermal magnetic trip technology, it provides essential long-time and instantaneous (LI) protection against overloads and short circuits. This unit mount Q-Frame breaker integrates into Square D NQOD panelboards, NQ panelboards, and switchboards. It is an ideal upgrade for the legacy Q2L3100. This unit-mount Q-frame breaker is designed for use in Square D NQ and NQOD panelboards, as well as compatible switchboards and individual enclosures.
What wire sizes and materials are accepted by the lugs on this breaker?
The factory-installed box lugs accept 4 AWG to 300 kcmil aluminum or copper (Al/Cu) conductors.
Can the QGL32100 be reverse fed?
Yes, this thermal-magnetic PowerPacT Q-frame circuit breaker can be forward or reverse fed, allowing flexibility in your wiring configuration.
What is the difference between the QGL32100 and the QDL32100 or QJL32100?
The difference is the interrupting rating. The QGL32100 has a 65kA rating at 240VAC. The QDL32100 is rated for 25kA, and the QJL32100 is rated for 100kA. All three share the same physical footprint and 100A trip rating.
How is this breaker mounted in a panel?
The QGL32100 is a unit-mount, feed-thru circuit breaker. It features lugs on both the line and load ends for cabled connections rather than plugging or bolting directly onto a busbar.
Does this breaker provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No, the QGL32100 provides standard thermal-magnetic overcurrent and short-circuit protection. It does not include integrated GFCI or AFCI functions.
What type of trip unit is installed in the QGL32100?
It features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit with Long-Time (L) and Instantaneous (I) functions. The thermal and magnetic trip points are factory set and cannot be adjusted in the field.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
