This Q-Frame breaker is designed for use in Square D NQ panelboards, typically functioning as a main breaker when paired with the correct adapter kit. It can also be installed in standalone Q-Frame enclosures for service entrance or sub-feed applications.
What is the difference between the QGL32150 and the QBL32150, QDL32150, or QJL32150?
These catalog numbers represent the same 150A, 3-pole Q-Frame breaker body but with different short-circuit interrupting ratings. The QGL model is rated for 65kA at 240V. The QBL is 10kA, QDL is 25kA, and QJL is 100kA. They share the same physical dimensions and mounting style.
How does the unit mount configuration work on this circuit breaker?
As a unit mount breaker, the QGL32150 does not plug onto a busbar or snap into place. It must be mechanically fastened to a back pan or mounting bracket and requires wire to be terminated at both the line and load side lugs.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the QGL32150?
No. This breaker uses a standard thermal-magnetic trip unit with fixed long-time and instantaneous trip points. It does not include adjustable dials for fine-tuning the trip curve.
Is the QGL32150 a direct replacement for obsolete Q2 Series breakers?
While PowerPacT Q-Frame breakers share similar dimensions with the legacy Q2 Series, installing a QGL32150 in an older NQOD panelboard specifically listed for Q2 frames may void the UL listing. Always verify enclosure labeling and consult an inspector before retrofitting.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
