This bolt-on circuit breaker is designed exclusively for use in Square D NQ and NQOD panelboards. It will not fit standard QO load centers, which require plug-on breakers.
Can I use this bolt-on breaker in a standard QO residential load center?
No. The QOB series features a bolt-on connection designed for commercial NQ and NQOD panelboards. For a standard residential QO load center, you need the plug-on equivalent, which is the QO115AFI.
Is there a combination AFCI replacement for this breaker?
Yes. The QOB115AFI is a legacy branch feeder AFCI. If your local electrical code requires a combination AFCI to detect both series and parallel arcs, you can use the QOB115CAFI as a direct replacement.
What is the difference between this branch feeder AFCI and a combination AFCI?
A branch feeder AFCI detects parallel arcs, such as line-to-neutral or line-to-ground faults. A combination AFCI detects both parallel arcs and series arcs, like a broken wire in series with the load. Check your local NEC requirements to determine which type is required for your installation.
How is the neutral connected on this breaker?
This breaker features a pigtail neutral connection. The coiled white wire must be routed and secured directly to the neutral bar in your panelboard for the arc fault detection circuitry to function properly.
How do I test the arc fault functionality after installation?
Once installed and energized, press the test button located on the front of the breaker. The breaker should trip immediately, indicating that the arc fault detection circuitry is working correctly.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
All International orders require a $1,000 minimum order threshold. Due to the special nature of these shipments, we require that these be placed with a SuperBreakers representative. Additional shipping and instructions will apply. All International Orders are Non-Cancel and Non-Refundable.
