No. The QOB115CAFI is a bolt-on circuit breaker designed specifically for NQ and NQOD panelboards. For a standard QO load center, you need the plug-on equivalent, catalog number QO115CAFI.
What does the CAFI designation mean on this breaker?
CAFI stands for Combination Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter. It provides protection against both parallel and series arc faults, meeting modern National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements for residential and commercial arc fault protection.
How is the neutral wired on the QOB115CAFI?
This breaker features a pigtail neutral connection. The coiled white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the panelboard neutral bar to power the internal arc fault circuitry.
Can I use this single-pole AFCI on a multi-wire branch circuit with a shared neutral?
No. Single-pole AFCI breakers monitor the balance between the hot and neutral conductors. Using a shared neutral will cause nuisance tripping. For multi-wire branch circuits, you must use a two-pole AFCI breaker, such as the QOB215CAFI.
How can I tell if the QOB115CAFI has tripped?
This breaker features the Square D Visi-Trip indicator. When the breaker trips, the handle moves to a center position and a highly visible red indicator appears, making it easy to identify the tripped circuit in a crowded panelboard.

Expedited Shipments
