This bolt-on breaker is specifically designed for installation in Square D NQ and NQOD panelboards. Because it uses a bolt-on connection, it cannot be installed in standard QO load centers that require plug-on breakers.
What is the difference between this EPD breaker and a standard GFCI?
The QOB240EPD is an Equipment Protection Device (EPD) with a 30mA Class B ground-fault trip threshold, designed to protect machinery and equipment from low-level faults without nuisance tripping. Standard GFCI breakers have a highly sensitive 5mA Class A threshold intended for personnel protection.
How much space does the QOB240EPD take up in a panelboard?
This two-pole breaker requires two standard 3/4-inch pole spaces in a compatible NQ or NQOD panelboard.
How is the neutral connected on the QOB240EPD?
This breaker features a pigtail neutral connection. The attached white pigtail wire must be routed and secured to the neutral bus bar in the panelboard to enable the ground-fault equipment protection circuitry.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
