No. While it is part of the QO family, this is a unit mount breaker intended for control panels, enclosures, and DIN rail applications. It lacks the mounting clips required to plug into a standard residential or commercial load center.
What is the recommended terminal torque for the lug connections?
The slotted box lugs on both the line and load sides require a tightening torque of 45 lb-in. Ensure your 14-2 AWG copper or aluminum wiring is properly torqued to prevent terminal overheating.
Is this circuit breaker ready for DIN rail mounting out of the box?
It is compatible with standard 35mm DIN rails, but you will need to purchase a separate mounting foot bracket. For a two-pole breaker like this model, the correct Square D mounting bracket is catalog number QOUMF2.
Can the QOU230 be back-fed in an OEM panel?
Yes. The internal mechanism and unit mount design allow it to be safely reverse-fed without requiring any special modifications or factory changes.

Expedited Shipments
