This 3-pole plug-on breaker is designed for use in compatible GE PowerMark Gold load centers and GE A-Series panelboards.
How much panel space does this 3-pole breaker require?
As a standard Q-Line breaker, it requires three 1-inch spaces, occupying a total of 3 inches on the load center or panelboard busbar.
What wire sizes and materials are accepted by the box lugs on this breaker?
The terminals accept 14 to 8 AWG solid or stranded copper wire, and 12 to 8 AWG aluminum wire. Always verify the exact torque specifications printed on the breaker label before terminating.
Can this breaker be installed in a standard residential single-phase panel?
No. Because it is a 3-pole breaker, it requires a 3-phase load center or panelboard. Installing it in a standard single-phase panel is not possible or safe.
Are ABB and GE THQL series breakers interchangeable?
Yes. ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions, so breakers currently manufactured under the ABB brand for the Q-Line series are exact replacements for older GE branded units.
