Yes. Eaton acquired the Westinghouse electrical distribution business in the early 1990s. Breakers marked with either brand share the same physical dimensions, mounting hardware, and UL listings.
What does the H in the HFB3050 catalog number indicate?
The H designates this as a high-interrupting capacity breaker within the Mark 75 family. It provides a 65kA interrupting rating at 240V AC, compared to the standard FB3050 which has a lower short-circuit rating.
What wire sizes are accepted by the standard lugs on the HFB3050?
The factory-installed lugs accept copper or aluminum conductors ranging from 14 AWG up to 1/0 AWG. Ensure proper torque specifications are followed during installation as labeled on the breaker faceplate.
Can I use a standard FB3050 in place of an HFB3050?
You can only substitute an FB3050 if the available fault current at the installation point is lower than the FB series maximum interrupting rating. The HFB3050 is required for systems needing up to 65kAIC at 240V AC or 25kAIC at 480V AC.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
