This J-Frame breaker is designed for use in Eaton Series C panelboards, as well as legacy Westinghouse panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers.
Is the Westinghouse JK3225 the same as the Eaton JK3225?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Westinghouse electrical distribution division. Breakers marked as Cutler-Hammer, Westinghouse, or Eaton with the JK3225 catalog number are physically and electrically identical.
Does this breaker come with lugs, and what wire sizes are accepted?
The JK3225 includes load side lug terminals that accept 4 AWG through 350 kcmil aluminum or copper wire. Line side connections depend on your specific panel or enclosure mounting hardware.
How does the adjustable magnetic trip function work on this breaker?
While the thermal overload protection is fixed at 225 amps, the magnetic instantaneous trip is adjustable. This allows electricians to fine-tune the short-circuit response to coordinate with other protective devices in the system.
Can this breaker be DIN rail mounted?
No. The JK3225 is a unit mount, bolt-on circuit breaker designed to be bolted directly to the bus or mounting pan in compatible enclosures.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
