This breaker is designed for installation in Eaton Pow-R-Line commercial panelboards as well as legacy Westinghouse bolt-on panels.
What is the difference between Eaton QBHW and BAB circuit breakers?
Both are Quicklag bolt-on breakers with identical physical dimensions. The difference is the short-circuit interrupting rating. The QBHW series is rated for 22 kAIC at 240V, whereas the BAB series is rated for 10 kAIC.
Can the QBHW3080H replace an older Westinghouse BAB3080?
Yes. Because Eaton acquired the Westinghouse distribution equipment line, the QBHW3080H will physically fit the same bolt-on panel spaces as a BAB3080. It provides an upgraded 22 kAIC rating compared to the original 10 kAIC rating.
Is the QBHW3080H suitable for HVAC equipment?
Yes, Eaton Quicklag breakers in this amperage range are HACR rated, making them suitable for heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration motor loads.
Are the terminal lugs on this breaker dual-rated for aluminum wire?

Expedited Shipments
