The TEYD1040B is a bolt-on circuit breaker designed specifically for use in GE A-Series panelboards. It is not compatible with standard residential load centers or DIN rail systems.
What is the difference between GE TEY, TEYF, and TEYD circuit breakers?
These breakers share the same 1-inch per pole physical footprint and mount in GE A-Series panelboards, but they feature different short-circuit interrupting ratings at 480Y/277VAC. The standard TEY is rated at 14kAIC, the TEYF at 18kAIC, and the TEYD at 25kAIC.
What are the lug tightening torque specifications for the TEYD1040B?
For the factory-installed lugs on the TEYD1040B, the required torque depends on the wire gauge: 35 in-lb for 10 AWG, 40 in-lb for 8 AWG, and 45 in-lb for 6 to 4 AWG wire.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
