6 answersWhat load centers are compatible with the QF250?
This breaker installs into Siemens PL, ES, EQ, and Ultimate load centers using a standard plug-on connection. It is also compatible with many legacy ITE load centers that accept QP-type breakers.
What is the ground fault trip threshold for this breaker?
The QF250 provides Class A ground fault protection, meaning it is designed to trip when it detects a ground fault current imbalance of 4 to 6 milliamps.
How is the neutral connection handled during installation?
It features a factory-installed pigtail neutral wire. This white wire must be connected directly to the neutral bus bar in your load center for the ground fault protection to function correctly.
Does the load circuit require a neutral wire for the GFCI to work?
A load neutral is not strictly required on the circuit if you are running a straight 240V load. However, the breaker's white pigtail neutral must always be connected to the panel neutral for the internal GFCI sensor to operate.
Can this breaker be used for hot tubs and spas?
Yes, providing 5mA Class A personnel protection, this 50A GFCI breaker is commonly used for demanding wet-location applications like hot tubs, pools, and spas.
Is there a self-testing version of this breaker available?

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
