Description
Engineered for industrial applications, the Eaton FD3020V is a 3-pole, 20A molded case circuit breaker from the Series C family. It delivers reliable thermal-magnetic protection for systems up to 600VAC. This F-Frame breaker mounts into Eaton Series C panelboards and motor control centers. The V suffix indicates that the thermal-magnetic trip unit is calibrated for a 50 degree Celsius ambient temperature. Standard Eaton Series C breakers are calibrated for 40 degrees Celsius. This high-ambient calibration is often required for marine, naval, or specific industrial environments.
Will this Eaton breaker replace an older Cutler-Hammer or Westinghouse FD3020V?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Cutler-Hammer and Westinghouse distribution equipment lines. A modern Eaton FD3020V is a direct, drop-in replacement for legacy Cutler-Hammer and Westinghouse breakers with the exact same catalog number, sharing the same physical footprint and bolt-on bus connections.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the FD3020V?
No. This breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. The long-time and instantaneous protection parameters are factory set and cannot be modified in the field. If you require adjustable trip settings, you will need a breaker with an electronic trip unit or adjustable magnetic dials.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments

The breaker we purchased was as advertised. The breaker fit perfectly. We purchased reconditioned breaker and it seems to be working properly, accordingly to the golf course maintenance team that supervises the irrigation system.
Next day shipping came quickly even though the 4th of July was coming.
I wish it came with new installations hardware but that isn’t a deal breaker.
