Yes. Like all Eaton Series C F-Frame breakers, this 20-amp model is HACR rated, making it approved for branch circuit protection on heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
Can this 20A breaker be used for switching high-intensity discharge (HID) lighting?
Yes. Eaton F-Frame circuit breakers rated between 10A and 50A are certified for HID lighting applications.
Is the FD3020 suitable for reverse feed installations?
Yes. This breaker is approved for reverse feed use, meaning the line and load connections can be swapped safely if required by your specific enclosure configuration.
Will an Eaton FD3020 replace my older Westinghouse or Cutler-Hammer FD3020 breaker?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Cutler-Hammer and Westinghouse electrical distribution lines. The current FD3020 shares the exact same F-Frame footprint and will physically and electrically replace the older branded versions.
Can the FD3020 replace older EHD3020 or FDB3020 models?
Yes. It shares the identical physical footprint but offers a higher interrupting capacity of 35kAIC at 480VAC. It is a direct drop-in upgrade for the standard 14kAIC EHD and FDB models when higher fault current protection is required.
What type of panels will accept this F-Frame breaker?
It is designed specifically for Eaton Series C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers that accommodate 3-phase, bolt-on F-Frame breakers.
Does this F-Frame breaker have adjustable trip settings?
No. It features fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip elements. The overload and short-circuit response characteristics are factory set and cannot be manually dialed or adjusted in the field.
How is this breaker mounted in the panel?
This is a strictly bolt-on device. It must be mechanically fastened directly to the bus structure using the appropriate mounting hardware and is not compatible with plug-on or snap-in load centers.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.

The breaker we purchased was as advertised. The breaker fit perfectly. We purchased reconditioned breaker and it seems to be working properly, accordingly to the golf course maintenance team that supervises the irrigation system.
Next day shipping came quickly even though the 4th of July was coming.
I wish it came with new installations hardware but that isn’t a deal breaker.
