Description
Built for commercial distribution, the Eaton FD3025 is a 3-pole, 25A molded case circuit breaker from the Series C F-Frame lineup. It provides dependable thermal-magnetic protection up to 600VAC. This unit bolts into Eaton Series C panelboards and switchboards. Upgrading to the newer PDG2 replacement requires a retrofit kit for Series C panels. With an interrupt rating of 65kAIC at 240V and 35kAIC at 480V, it ensures excellent fault clearing. It is HACR rated and reverse feed capable.Specifications

This F-Frame breaker bolts directly into Eaton Series C panelboards, including Pow-R-Line 3a (PRL3a) distribution panels, as well as compatible switchboards and motor control centers.
Can the Eaton FD3025 replace an older Westinghouse FD3025?
Yes. Eaton acquired the low voltage circuit breaker division of Westinghouse. A modern Eaton or Cutler-Hammer FD3025 is a direct physical and electrical replacement for legacy Westinghouse breakers sharing the same catalog number.
How does the FD3025 differ from the FDB3025 and HFD3025?
While they share the same 25-amp, 3-pole F-Frame footprint, their short circuit interrupting ratings differ. The FDB3025 is the lowest tier, the FD3025 offers standard performance, and the HFD3025 provides a high interrupting capacity (65kAIC at 480VAC).
Can this breaker be reverse fed?
Yes. Eaton Series C F-Frame thermal magnetic circuit breakers, including the FD3025, are suitable for reverse feed applications.
Does this breaker require terminal lugs on the line side?
As a bolt-on branch breaker designed for panelboards and switchboards, the line side bolts directly to the internal bus. Terminal lugs are typically only installed on the load side for outgoing wire connections.
Is the FD3025 HACR rated?
Yes, this breaker carries an HACR rating, certifying it for use in heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment circuits.
Is this breaker rated for HID lighting applications?

Expedited Shipments

The breaker we purchased was as advertised. The breaker fit perfectly. We purchased reconditioned breaker and it seems to be working properly, accordingly to the golf course maintenance team that supervises the irrigation system.
Next day shipping came quickly even though the 4th of July was coming.
I wish it came with new installations hardware but that isn’t a deal breaker.
