This plug-on breaker is designed for use in Siemens EQ, ES, PL, Ultimate, and G series load centers that accept QP or QPF type breakers.
Can I use this breaker in a panel that requires a plug-on neutral?
No. The Q215GF features a pigtail neutral connection and is designed for standard panels. For plug-on neutral load centers, you will need the Q215GFN version.
How is the neutral wire connected for this 2-pole GFCI breaker?
The breaker features a factory-installed white pigtail wire that must be connected directly to the panel neutral bus bar. For 120/240V circuits, the load neutral connects directly to the breaker terminal.
Does a 240V load without a neutral require a load neutral connection on the breaker?
A load neutral is not required for straight 240V circuits. However, the white pigtail must still be connected to the panel neutral bus for the internal ground fault circuitry to operate.
What is the ground fault trip sensitivity for this breaker?
It provides Class A ground fault protection, meaning the sensor is designed to trip when it detects a current imbalance of 4 to 6 milliamps between load conductors.
Does this breaker include an automatic self-test function?
Yes. It includes a self-test feature that continuously monitors the ground fault protection circuitry to ensure proper operation, complying with UL 943 requirements.
What is the difference between the QF215 and the Q215GF?
The Q215GF is the current catalog number that supersedes the older QF215 model. The Q215GF includes updated self-testing features required by modern UL standards.
Is there a version of this 15A GFCI breaker with a higher interrupting rating?
Yes. If your application requires a higher interrupting rating than 10kAIC, the Q215GFH offers 22kAIC and the Q215GFHH offers 65kAIC.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
