7 answersWhat panelboards are compatible with the EGB14060?
This breaker is designed exclusively for bolt-on installation in Square D NF series panelboards. It is not compatible with NQ, QO, or I-Line panelboards.
What does the G in the EGB14060 part number indicate?
The G designates the interrupting rating tier within the Square D E-Frame family. The EGB series provides a 35kAIC rating at 277VAC, which is higher than the standard EDB series (18kAIC) but lower than the high-interrupting EJB series (65kAIC).
Can I substitute an EDB14060 for the EGB14060?
Both are 60A, 1-pole E-Frame breakers that fit NF panelboards, but the EDB14060 has a lower interrupting rating of 18kAIC at 277VAC. You can only substitute the EDB version if your system's available fault current is verified to be below 18kA. For higher fault currents, you must use the EGB14060 or the 65kAIC-rated EJB14060.
What wire sizes and materials are accepted by the EGB14060 terminals?
The factory-installed lugs accept 14 AWG to 2/0 AWG copper wire, or 12 AWG to 2/0 AWG aluminum wire.
Is the Square D EGB14060 HACR rated?
Yes, this breaker is HACR rated, making it suitable for branch circuit protection of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
Does the EGB14060 include a Visi-Trip indicator?
Yes, this E-Frame breaker features the Square D Visi-Trip visual indicator. When the breaker trips due to an overload or short circuit, a red indicator appears to help quickly identify the tripped circuit in the panelboard.
Can the EGB14060 be used on a 120V circuit?
Yes. While it is rated for up to 277VAC, it is fully compatible with 120VAC circuits. When applied at 120VAC, the interrupting rating increases to 65kAIC.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
