This plug-on breaker is designed for use in Eaton BR, Bryant, Challenger, and Westinghouse load centers. It is not compatible with Eaton CH series panels.
What is the purpose of the pigtail wire on this breaker?
The pigtail wire connects directly to the panel's neutral bus bar. This connection powers the breaker's internal circuitry to monitor for ground faults.
What is the recommended tightening torque for the load terminals?
The box lug terminals should be tightened to 25 lb-in.
What level of ground-fault protection does the GFCB115 provide?
It provides Class A ground-fault protection with a 5mA trip sensitivity, meeting NEC requirements for personnel protection in wet locations like kitchens, bathrooms, and garages.
How do I verify the ground-fault protection is working after installation?
Press the test button on the front of the breaker. If the breaker trips, the ground-fault circuitry is functioning correctly. It is recommended to test this monthly.
Can this breaker replace older Bryant or Westinghouse GFCI models?
Yes, the GFCB115 is the direct replacement for legacy 15A, 1-pole GFCI breakers in the BR frame, including the older BRN115GF model.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
