Description
Designed to handle demanding electrical loads, the Eaton GHC2035 provides 35 amps of thermal-magnetic protection in a compact G-Frame footprint. This 2-pole molded case circuit breaker delivers a 65kAIC interrupt rating at 240VAC and 14kAIC at 480Y/277VAC. Equipped with standard cable-in/cable-out lugs, it easily mounts into OEM panels, motor control centers, and compatible Series C enclosures. This Series C, G-frame breaker is designed for installation in Eaton Series C enclosures and various OEM control panels. It can also be adapted for DIN rail mounting in industrial control panels by using a compatible Eaton DIN rail adapter bracket.
How is the GHC2035 breaker mounted during installation?
The GHC2035 utilizes a unit mount, feed-thru configuration. Instead of plugging into a busbar, it is bolted directly to the panel chassis or enclosure backpan. Both the line and load sides feature mechanical lugs that accept 10 to 1/0 AWG conductors.
Is the GHC2035 suitable for direct current (DC) circuits?
Yes, in addition to its AC ratings, this thermal-magnetic breaker is fully rated for DC applications. It can safely interrupt up to 14 kAIC at 125/250V DC, which is useful for specialized industrial control systems and battery backups.
How does the thermal-magnetic trip unit function on the GHC2035?
The breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip mechanism, designated by the LI (Long-Time and Instantaneous) trip code. The thermal element protects against prolonged overcurrents, while the magnetic element trips instantaneously to clear severe short circuits.
Can I use the Eaton GHC2035 to replace an older Cutler-Hammer breaker?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
