Yes. Eaton acquired the Cutler-Hammer and Westinghouse circuit breaker lines. The KD3100 maintains the exact same physical dimensions, fit, and electrical functions across all three brands, making it a direct drop-in replacement for legacy installations.
What is the magnetic trip adjustment range for the KD3100?
The KD3100 features an adjustable magnetic trip that can be set between 5 and 10 times the continuous ampere rating. For this 100A breaker, the instantaneous trip range is 500A to 1000A.
Are there direct replacements for the KD3100 if my system requires a higher interrupting capacity?
Yes. If your application requires a higher short-circuit rating than the KD3100 provides, you can upgrade to the HKD3100 (rated 65kAIC at 480VAC) or the KDC3100 (rated 100kAIC at 480VAC). Both share the same K-Frame dimensions and mounting requirements.
What conductor sizes and materials are supported by the standard lugs on the KD3100?
The standard pressure-type lugs for the KD3100 accommodate both copper and aluminum (Al/Cu) wire, accepting conductor sizes from 3 AWG up to 350 kcmil.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
