This bolt-on breaker is designed for use in Eaton and Cutler-Hammer Pow-R-Line panelboards, such as the PRL1a and PRL2a series, that accept Quicklag type QBHW breakers.
Can I install the QBHW3040H in a standard residential plug-on load center?
No. The QBHW3040H is a bolt-on breaker designed for commercial and industrial Pow-R-Line panelboards. It will not fit in residential plug-on load centers that require BR or CH series breakers.
Can I use a BAB series breaker instead of the QBHW3040H?
Both series share the same physical bolt-on footprint, but the QBHW3040H has a higher interrupting rating of 22kAIC. A BAB series breaker is rated at 10kAIC and cannot be used if your system requires the higher 22kA fault current rating. Always verify the required rating for your panel.

Expedited Shipments
