5 answersWhat load centers are compatible with the BRH235?
The BRH235 is designed for use in Eaton and Cutler-Hammer Type BR load centers. It is also UL-listed for use in compatible legacy panels from Bryant, Westinghouse, and Challenger that accept Type BR breakers.
What is the difference between the standard BR235 and the BRH235?
The BRH235 features a high-interrupting rating of 22kAIC at 240V, whereas the standard BR235 is rated for 10kAIC. The BRH235 is required in applications where the available fault current exceeds 10,000 amps.
Can the BRH235 be installed in an Eaton Type CH panel?
No. Type BR breakers are 1 inch per pole and use a plug-on design specific to BR load centers. They are not physically compatible with Eaton Type CH panels, which require 3/4-inch wide breakers.
Is the Eaton BRH235 a direct replacement for older Bryant or Westinghouse breakers?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Cutler-Hammer, Bryant, and Westinghouse breaker lines. The Eaton BRH235 is the direct, manufacturer-approved replacement for legacy Bryant, Westinghouse, and Challenger breakers sharing the same BRH235 catalog number.
Does the BRH235 require a plug-on neutral load center?
No. Because the BRH235 is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker without AFCI or GFCI features, it does not require a neutral connection. It can be installed in both legacy and modern plug-on neutral Type BR load centers.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
