Description
Engineered for commercial and industrial environments, the Eaton CH270ST provides 70A of thermal-magnetic protection. This 2-pole breaker includes a factory-installed shunt trip accessory, allowing the circuit to be opened remotely via an external voltage signal. The unit mounts into standard Eaton Type CH load centers, occupying two 3/4-inch spaces. It features box lug terminals that accommodate 14-2 AWG copper or aluminum wiring. How many panel spaces does the CH270ST require?
While it is a 2-pole breaker, the CH270ST requires three 3/4-inch spaces in your panel. The integrated shunt trip mechanism occupies one additional pole space alongside the two standard poles.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping

When our main breaker frizzed out, the option we were presented with was replacing the entire panel and service due to the type and part - no longer produced for replacement parts. It would be a $6500 replacement.
We'll likely have to do it at some point but, for now, the replacement breaker we were able to source from Superbreakers (with a $25 warranty) was $5900 less expensive. installation ran a few hundred dollars and the tech said the part looked to be in excellent condition and was prepped for install as he would have hoped.
