Yes, the Power Defense Frame 2 series is designed as an upgrade for legacy F-Frame breakers, such as the EHD and FDB series. A retrofit adapter kit may be required to match the mounting dimensions of the older equipment.
Are the long-time and instantaneous trip parameters adjustable on this unit?
No. This breaker is equipped with a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time overload and instantaneous short-circuit settings are factory-set and cannot be adjusted in the field.
Does this breaker include terminal lugs for both the line and load sides?
No. Because this is a bolt-on breaker designed for panelboard and switchboard installation, the line side bolts directly to the electrical bus. It only includes factory-installed terminal lugs on the load side.
Is this Power Defense breaker approved for direct current (DC) circuits?
Yes. While commonly used in AC panels, this thermal-magnetic breaker is also certified for DC applications up to 250VDC, carrying a 10kA interrupting capacity at both 125VDC and 250VDC.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
