This bolt-on breaker is designed for installation in GE A-Series lighting panelboards. It can also be used in standalone unit-mount or lug-to-lug applications when paired with a TEY3B mounting base.
What is the acceptable wire size and torque specification for the TEYF345 lugs?
The factory-installed lugs accept 10-4 AWG copper or aluminum wire. The recommended tightening torque is 35 in-lb for #10 AWG, 40 in-lb for #8 AWG, and 45 in-lb for #6 to #4 AWG wire.
Does the TEYF345 breaker require a specific mounting base for standalone installation?
Yes, if you are not installing it directly into an A-Series panelboard, you will need the TEY3B three-pole mounting base to use the TEYF345 in unit-mount or lug-to-lug applications.
What does the F in the TEYF345 part number indicate?
The F designates the short-circuit interrupting capacity tier. While a standard TEY breaker is rated at 14kAIC at 480Y/277VAC, the TEYF tier provides a higher interrupting rating of 18kAIC at 480Y/277VAC.
Can the TEYF345 be used in DC circuits?
Yes, the TEYF345 is rated for use in direct current applications up to 250VDC, with a short-circuit interrupting rating of 10kAIC.
Why might my TEYF345 breaker be branded as ABB instead of General Electric?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
