Can the THED124050 be used to replace an older TED124050 breaker?
Yes. The THED124050 shares the same physical E150 frame dimensions as the standard TED124050 but offers a higher interrupting capacity, making it a direct, backward-compatible upgrade.
What is the difference between GE TED and THED circuit breakers?
Both belong to the E150 frame family and are physically interchangeable. The THED series is the high-interrupting version, offering greater fault current protection compared to the standard TED series.
Does the THED124050 support reverse feeding?
Yes, GE E150 frame breakers, including the THED series, are suitable for reverse feed applications.
How is trip indication displayed on this E-frame breaker?
When the breaker trips, the operating handle moves to a center position midway between ON and OFF. To reset the mechanism, the handle must be pushed to the extreme OFF position before being turned back ON.
Does holding the operating handle in the ON position prevent the THED124050 from tripping?
No. The breaker features a trip-free mechanism that operates independently of the manual handle, ensuring it will still trip during an overload or short circuit even if the handle is physically held in the ON position.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
