No. The THQB1140 is a bolt-on circuit breaker designed specifically for GE A-Series panelboards and AQ lighting panels. PowerMark Gold load centers require plug-in THQL series breakers.
What are the lug tightening torque specifications for the THQB1140?
The required torque depends on the wire gauge being installed. Torque 8 AWG wire to 40 in-lb, 6 AWG to 4 AWG wire to 45 in-lb, and 3 AWG wire to 50 in-lb.
What is the 22kAIC equivalent of the THQB1140?
If your panel requires a 22kAIC interrupting rating, you cannot use the standard 10kAIC THQB1140. You must source the THHQB1140, which shares the same physical dimensions and mounting but offers the higher short-circuit rating.
Does the THQB1140 provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No. This is a standard thermal-magnetic circuit breaker that provides long-time and instantaneous trip functions for overload and short-circuit protection. It does not contain GFCI or AFCI circuitry.
Will the THQB1140 fit in a GE RE-Series panelboard?
No. GE RE-Series panelboards are designed to accept TEY frame circuit breakers. The THQB1140 is only compatible with A-Series and AQ lighting panels.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
