This E-Frame breaker is designed exclusively for bolt-on installation in Square D NF series panelboards. It requires three pole spaces for mounting.
What is the difference between Square D EDB, EGB, and EJB breakers?
All three are E-Frame breakers that fit NF panelboards, but they have different interrupting ratings at 480Y/277V. The EDB is standard-rated at 18 kAIC, the EGB is high-interrupting at 35 kAIC, and the EJB is extra-high interrupting at 65 kAIC.
What are the lug tightening torque specifications for the EDB36050?
For the factory-installed aluminum lugs, the required tightening torque is 34.5 lb-in (3.9 N-m) for 14-10 AWG wire, and 49.6 lb-in (5.6 N-m) for 8-2/0 AWG wire.
Can the EDB36050 be used in reverse-feed applications?
Yes, Square D EDB series breakers are suitable for reverse-feed applications. This allows them to be back-fed when utilized as a main breaker in a panelboard.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
