The EGB14035 is an E-frame breaker designed specifically for use in Square D NF series panelboards. It cannot be installed in NQ panelboards, which require QO or QOB breakers, or I-Line panelboards.
What is the difference between Square D EDB, EGB, and EJB circuit breakers?
These E-frame breakers share the same physical footprint and mount in NF panelboards, but they feature different interrupting ratings. At 277VAC, the EDB is rated at 18kA, the EGB is rated at 35kA, and the EJB is rated at 65kA.
What does the LI trip function code mean on the EGB14035?
The LI designation indicates that this thermal-magnetic breaker includes both Long-Time (L) and Instantaneous (I) trip functions. The long-time function protects against sustained overloads, while the instantaneous function trips immediately during a short circuit.
Does the EGB14035 feature a tripped status indicator?
Yes, this breaker includes the Square D Visi-Trip indicator. When the breaker trips, the handle moves to a center position and a highly visible red indicator appears, making it easy to identify the tripped breaker in a crowded NF panelboard.
Is the EGB14035 HACR rated?

No, the standard EGB14035 provides thermal-magnetic overload and short-circuit protection only. For 30 mA equipment ground fault protection, you would need to source an E-frame EPD (Equipment Protection Device) variant, which occupies two pole spaces in the panelboard.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
