This bolt-on circuit breaker is designed exclusively for use in Square D NF series panelboards. It will not fit in QO, I-Line, or NQ panelboards.
Can the EGB34090 be installed in 120V or 240V systems?
Yes. Although its maximum voltage rating is 480Y/277VAC, it is fully rated for lower voltage AC systems, where it provides an increased short-circuit interrupting capacity of 65kA.
What are the direct alternatives to the EGB34090 if a different interrupting rating is required?
For the exact same 90A, 3-pole footprint in an NF panelboard, use the EDB34090 (rated 18kA at 480Y/277VAC) for lower fault current requirements, or the EJB34090 (rated 65kA at 480Y/277VAC) for higher interrupting capacity.
What wire sizes do the factory lugs on the EGB34090 accept?
The standard mechanical lugs accept 14 AWG to 2/0 AWG copper wire, or 12 AWG to 2/0 AWG aluminum wire.
Is the thermal-magnetic trip unit on the EGB34090 adjustable?
No. Both the thermal overload (long-time) and magnetic short-circuit (instantaneous) trip thresholds are factory set and cannot be field adjusted.
Is the EGB34090 approved for use with HVAC equipment?

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
