6 answersWhich panelboards accept the Square D EHB24080 circuit breaker?
This breaker is designed specifically for legacy Square D NEHB panelboards. It will not fit in newer NF series panels.
Is there a direct modern replacement for the EHB24080 in NEHB panels?
No. The EHB series is a legacy product, and newer EDB series breakers will not fit into NEHB panelboards. If you are maintaining an existing NEHB panel, you must use an EHB breaker. Upgrading to EDB breakers requires a complete panelboard replacement to the NF series.
Can the EHB24080 be used on a 240V system?
Yes. While it is rated for up to 480Y/277VAC with a 14kAIC rating, it is fully compatible with 120/240VAC systems, where it provides a much higher interrupting capacity of 65kAIC.
Do I need to purchase separate lugs for the EHB24080?
No. The breaker comes with factory-installed lugs that accept aluminum or copper conductors ranging from 4 AWG to 2/0 AWG.
Does the EHB24080 provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No. This is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker providing long-time overload and instantaneous short-circuit protection. It does not include GFCI or AFCI capabilities.
Are the trip settings on the EHB24080 adjustable?
No. This breaker features fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip elements. The trip curve cannot be adjusted in the field.

Expedited Shipments
