This breaker is designed exclusively for use in legacy Square D NEHB panelboards. It features a bolt-on mounting style specific to the bus architecture of this panelboard series.
Can I use an EDB series breaker to replace the EHB24100 in my current panel?
No. While the EDB series is the modern equivalent to the legacy EHB series, EDB breakers are designed for NF series panelboards and will not fit into an NEHB panelboard.
What does the 480/277VAC slash rating indicate for this breaker?
The slash rating indicates the breaker can safely interrupt fault currents on a 480Y/277V solidly grounded wye system where the line-to-ground voltage does not exceed 277V. It is not rated for 480V ungrounded or corner-grounded delta systems.
Can the EHB24100 be used on 120/240V or 240V systems?
Yes. While it is rated for up to 480Y/277VAC, it is fully compatible with 120/240V and 240V systems. When applied at these lower voltages, the interrupting capacity increases to 65kAIC.
Is the Square D EHB series still in active production?
The EHB series is a legacy product line that has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Exact replacements are used to maintain existing NEHB panelboards without requiring a full panel upgrade.
How many panel spaces does the EHB24100 occupy?
As a 2-pole E-frame breaker, it occupies two spaces in an NEHB panelboard. Each pole is 1 inch wide, making the total breaker width 2 inches.

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
