This E-frame breaker is designed specifically for use in Square D NF series panelboards. It utilizes a bolt-on connection to secure directly to the panel bus.
What is the difference between the EJB24015 and the EDB24015 or EGB24015?
The difference lies in the short-circuit interrupting rating at 480Y/277VAC. The EDB24015 is rated at 18kA, the EGB24015 at 35kA, and the EJB24015 offers the highest rating at 65kA. All three share the same physical footprint and NF panelboard compatibility.
Is the EJB24015 suitable for use on a 480V ungrounded delta system?
No. This breaker carries a 480Y/277VAC slash rating, meaning it is only approved for use on solidly grounded wye systems where the voltage to ground does not exceed 277VAC. It cannot be used on 480V delta systems.
What wire sizes are accepted by the EJB24015 terminals?
The standard lugs accept 14 to 6 AWG copper wire or 12 to 6 AWG aluminum wire. Ensure proper torque specifications are followed during installation as outlined by Schneider Electric.
Can the EJB24015 be mounted on a standard DIN rail?
No. This is a bolt-on molded case circuit breaker designed exclusively for Square D NF panelboards. It does not support DIN rail mounting.
Are the trip settings adjustable on the EJB24015?
No. This breaker features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit with non-adjustable long-time and instantaneous trip functions.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
