The EJB24025 is designed specifically for use in Square D NF series panelboards. It mounts directly to the panel bus using a bolt-on connection.
Can I use the EJB24025 to replace an EDB24025 or EGB24025 breaker?
Yes. The EJB24025 shares the same physical dimensions and mounting as EDB and EGB breakers but offers a higher interrupting rating (65kA at 480Y/277VAC). Upgrading to a higher AIC rating is generally acceptable when replacing a breaker in an NF panelboard.
What do the hold and trip currents signify for the EJB24025?
This thermal magnetic breaker has a hold current of 270A, which is the maximum current it can sustain without tripping, and a trip current of 875A, which is the threshold where the instantaneous magnetic trip is guaranteed to activate.
What wire sizes and torque specifications apply to the EJB24025 lugs?
The aluminum lugs accept 14 to 6 AWG copper or 12 to 6 AWG aluminum wire. The recommended tightening torque is 30 lbf-in (3.4 N.m).
What does the J in the EJB frame designation mean?
In Square D E-frame breakers, the middle letter indicates the interrupting capacity at 480Y/277VAC. The J denotes a 65kA rating, compared to D (18kA) and G (35kA).

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
