No, the legacy FY F-frame series has been discontinued by Schneider Electric. For new installations or full panel retrofits, the PowerPacT B-frame series (specifically catalog number BDA140205) is the manufacturer recommended replacement for this 20A, 1-pole I-Line breaker.
Why does the catalog number end with the letter C?
For Square D 1-pole I-Line circuit breakers, the suffix letter indicates the specific phase connection. The C designates that this breaker is factory configured to connect only to the C-phase of the panelboard bus.
Can I install this I-Line circuit breaker in a standard Square D QO or NQ panel?
No. The FY14020C features an I-Line style plug-in connection designed exclusively for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It will not physically fit or connect to the bus of QO load centers or NQ panels.
Does this F-frame breaker support direct current (DC) applications?
