Can the HLA36100 replace older Square D F-frame breakers?
Yes, the PowerPacT H-frame series is the direct replacement for legacy F-frame breakers. The HLA36100 can replace older 100A FA, FH, and FC I-Line breakers, offering higher interrupting ratings in the same mounting footprint.

It is equipped with a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit featuring Long-Time (L) and Instantaneous (I) protection functions. The thermal and magnetic trip points are factory-fixed and non-adjustable.

No. The HLA36100 is an I-Line molded case circuit breaker and is strictly compatible with Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It will not fit in residential QO or Homeline load centers.
