No, the Square D JJA36175 carries a standard 80 percent continuous current rating [1.1.5]. For typical continuous duty applications, the maximum continuous load on this 175-amp breaker should not exceed 140 amps.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the JJA36175 breaker?
The thermal overload protection is fixed at 175 amps, but the instantaneous magnetic trip is adjustable. You can adjust the magnetic short-circuit response from a low setting of 875A up to a high setting of 1750A to coordinate properly with your electrical system.

The standard mechanical load side lugs require a 5/16-inch hex bit torque wrench. When terminating your 4 AWG to 4/0 AWG copper or aluminum conductors, the lugs must be torqued to 225 lb-in to ensure a secure and compliant connection.

Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
