This breaker is an Equipment Protection Device (EPD) designed to trip at a 30 mA ground fault threshold. It is not a Class A GFCI breaker, which trips at 5 mA for personnel protection.
What applications are suitable for a 30 mA EPD breaker?
EPD breakers are typically used to protect equipment where a standard 5 mA GFCI might experience nuisance tripping. Common applications include heat trace cables, snow melting equipment, and well pumps.
Can I install this breaker in a Square D Homeline panel?
No. The QO215EPD is exclusively for use in Square D QO load centers and NQ panelboards. Homeline panels require HOM series breakers.
How is the pigtail neutral wired on this breaker?
The coiled white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the panel neutral bus bar. The load neutral wire from the circuit then connects to the designated neutral terminal on the breaker itself.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
