6 answersWhat panels are compatible with the QO215GF circuit breaker?
This breaker is designed exclusively for Square D QO Load Centers and NQ Panelboards. It is not interchangeable with Homeline or other manufacturer panels.
How is the neutral connected on the QO215GF?
This breaker features a pigtail neutral wire. The pigtail must be connected directly to the neutral bar in your panel for the ground fault circuitry to operate correctly.
Can I install this pigtail neutral breaker in a Plug-On Neutral (PON) load center?
Yes. Pigtail neutral breakers are fully compatible with Plug-On Neutral load centers. You simply wire the pigtail to the neutral bar just as you would in a traditional panel.
Does the QO215GF provide Class A ground fault protection?
Yes, it provides Class A ground fault protection for personnel. The breaker is designed to trip when it detects a ground fault current of 4 to 6 milliamperes.
Can this 2-pole GFCI breaker be used on a straight 240V circuit without a load neutral?
Yes. It can protect 240V loads that do not require a neutral wire, such as certain well pumps or heaters. However, the breaker's pigtail neutral must still be connected to the panel neutral bar to power the internal GFCI testing circuitry.
Does this breaker include arc fault (AFCI) protection?
No. The QO215GF provides thermal-magnetic overcurrent protection and ground fault (GFCI) protection only. It is not a dual-function breaker and does not detect arc faults.

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
