This breaker is designed for use in Square D QO load centers, NQ panelboards, and NQOD panelboards. It is not compatible with Homeline panels.
How is the neutral connected on this GFCI breaker?
The QO225GFI features a pigtail neutral connection. The coiled white wire must be connected directly to the neutral bus bar in your panel for the ground fault protection circuitry to function.
Can I use this 2-pole GFCI breaker for a straight 240V load that does not have a neutral wire?
Yes. For 240V-only loads, you can connect the two hot wires to the breaker and leave the load neutral terminal empty. However, the breaker's white pigtail must still be connected to the panel's neutral bus bar.
What level of ground fault protection does the QO225GFI provide?
It provides Class A ground fault protection, which trips when a ground fault of 5mA to 6mA is detected, protecting personnel from electrical shock.
Can I install this pigtail breaker in a Plug-On Neutral (PON) panel?
Yes. If your panel is a Plug-On Neutral (PON) QO load center, you can still use this pigtail version by wiring the white pigtail directly to the neutral bar.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
