This breaker fits Square D QO and Homeline load centers designed for QOM2 frame main breakers. It is typically used to downsize the main service to 100A in a 150A, 200A, or 225A convertible main panel.
Will the QOM2100VH fit a standard 100A QO or Homeline load center?
In most cases, no. Standard 100A and 125A QO or Homeline panels typically require the smaller QOM1 frame main breaker, such as the QOM100VH. The QOM2100VH is a larger QOM2 frame breaker designed for 150A to 225A convertible panels.
What is the difference between the QOM2100 and the QOM2100VH?
The QOM2100VH features a higher interrupting rating of 22kAIC at 120/240VAC. The standard QOM2100 is rated for 10kAIC.
Can the QOM2100VH be used as a branch breaker?
No. The QOM2 frame is exclusively designed to be bolted in as a main breaker in compatible QO and Homeline convertible load centers. It cannot be installed on the branch bus.
What is the tightening torque for the lugs on the QOM2100VH?
The factory specification for the 4 AWG to 300 kcmil lugs is 247.8 lb-in (28 N.m). Always verify with the label on the breaker prior to installation.
Does this main breaker require a separate hold-down kit?
No separate hold-down kit is required. The QOM2100VH bolts directly to the load center bus structure, which inherently secures it in place as a main breaker.

Expedited Shipments
